I love you

You don’t love me enough

And that’s what it boils down to.

Do you love me or the love I give you?

Do you know what love is?

Do you know me?

You once told me that I love Bob Dylan.

So I don’t know.

I thought it was obvious that was only who I pretended to be

So you’d love me.

Realizing my mistake, I gave you another chance,

It was then that I discovered that I don’t love you either.

I love how it feels to make people love me,

Even when that me isn’t really me.

And when you love me,

Idolize me,

Praise me,

Then I’ll take away your problems and I’ll make them my own.

And when you finally feel relief,

That’s when I’ll hate you.

You never even tried

to make all that's wrong with me yours.

Are you really so dumb,

that you’d believe me when I say I’m perfect?

Did you believe it when I said that it’s okay if you’re not?

I don’t know what love is.

I just want to fix you,

and then I want you to owe it all to me

for the rest of your life.
