At some point, my cure for boredom grew from my imaginary friends to drugs and bad TV.

Instead of creating wonderlands in my head, I escape to a place where I just don’t exist.

Running in the opposite direction of any sign of life.

Maybe because I don’t value the living

The beauty of it all

I try not to blame myself

Because I’ve been running forever

And the only time I feel peace is when I’m going 60 miles an hour

I’m going too fast to notice any of it,

The beauty.
