Hi, I’m Sophie — a 22-year-old writer. I was born in Atlanta and raised slightly outside of it. I’ve loved to create for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until high school that I discovered my love for words.

 

After getting in trouble for smoking pot, my dad handed me a journal and told me I had to write in it everyday for thirty days. He’d said that he was going to check, so I did, and I found so much comfort in putting what I was feeling into words on a page. He never checked to make sure I wrote for thirty days, and I’ve continued writing for the last seven years.

 

I’m currently living in Southern California, working as a nanny and continuing my college education online while pursuing any opportunity I can to share my writing. Thank you for being here, and I hope you enjoy it. Though I truly don’t care if you don’t.
