St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands

The day after Christmas, my family, a few friends, and I got on a plane to St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. We stayed at the Buoy Haus Beach Resort, which was perfect. The restaurants on the property were all awesome, especially the wood-fired pizza that you can eat beachside.

We also went on two different boat trips, the first in the British Virgin Islands, snorkeling and exploring places my dad had been to with my mom when he was there with her. The second boat day, we stayed in the U.S. Virgin Islands and spent the day snorkeling around the islands.

My favorite day, however, was my birthday. My dad surprised me by taking us to an island called Lovango. We had a few cabanas and a nice-looking man to deliver food and drinks. There were multiple pools, and it was the most beautiful place I have ever been. We ended the night with dinner, and I forced everyone on the boat ride back to dance for my birthday.

This trip was one of my all-time favorites.
